Archer Hotel Capital (“Archer”) is pleased to publish its 2021 ESG Report, showcasing some of the wonderful work being done by our hotels. The report highlights our performance against our ESG commitments, including:

  • Certifying our operational portfolio BREEAM In-Use by the end of 2022 (27% in 2021)
  • Certifying our operational portfolio to Global Sustainable Tourism Council recognised hotel standards by 2025 (34% in 2021)
  • Achieving a minimum recycling and anaerobic digestion/composting rate of 50% by 2025 (19% in 2021)

We have published new energy and carbon intensity reduction targets in line with the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance’s Net Zero Carbon guidance: 10% reduction in portfolio energy intensity by 2025 from a 2019 baseline and 36% reduction in portfolio Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas intensity by 2025 from a 2019 baseline. We have also offset our Scope 1,2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions from our head offices for the third year running.
